Join Our Team.
By working together, recovery is possible.
The center of our work is the dedication we share in supporting people's journey to recovery. We believe God is the ultimate healer and that through abstinence, miracles can happen in people's lives. Our team works to deliver quality addiction treatment and support for our clients and their family.
We are not strangers to the detrimental impact of addiction, but we are constantly inspired by the ways people turn their lives around. Many Tara staff members are in recovery themselves, and no matter your background, we accept you as you are. What matters most is your passion for helping others who are striving for recovery.
We're proud of what we do, and we're looking for others who are, too.
The Tara Difference.
The Mission
We provide quality care to people and their families affected by addiction by promoting lifelong, continued recovery.
The Heart
We are a home away from home for our clients and staff. A home is full of love and care, and it's a safe place to be.
The People
Our staff is the true heart of the organization. We go out of our way to make clients and each other feel welcome.
What We Stand For.
Our staff lives these core values every day, and clients who come to Tara learn to live by them as well. They are critical to recovery, and they guide our actions.
Honesty is crucial from the day a person enters treatment and throughout their life in recovery. It's so foundational to recovery that it's the basis for the first step of any 12-step recovery program. Dishonesty at any stage of recovery can pose an immense risk to a person's sobriety, which is why it must always be carefully guarded against.
Addiction erodes trust between individuals, but trust allows a person to fight back against addiction. In many ways, trust is the polar opposite of addiction. As such, trust is an absolutely essential component of treatment and recovery. In fact, we believe that it is impossible to recover from addiction without placing our trust in other people.
Overcoming the habits and thought patterns of addiction is challenging. The most effective way to beat addiction is also the simplest and most straightforward: by putting in the work. Just as we expect our clients to work hard on their recovery, our staff members hold themselves to the same high standard. Our team always strives to work just as hard as the individuals they serve because they know that the effort they put into their clients' treatment directly impacts their chances at being successful in recovery.
Commitment is the desire to achieve a goal plus a personal pledge to do so. Any person who hopes to succeed in sobriety must be willing to go "all in" and dedicate themselves to the path that lies ahead. We believe the same level of commitment is also required from addiction treatment professionals, which is why we strive to cultivate this value among our staff and clients alike.
