Dawn has been with Tara Treatment Center since 2016. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Indiana University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana University.

She is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and a Certified Addictions Registered Nurse-Advanced Practice (CARN-AP).

Dawn is passionate about recovery and states she is honored to assist those struggling with mental health issues and addiction. She is grateful to have the opportunity to partner with patients while they are growing and transforming their lives.

She states that her approach is best aligned with the words by Emily Dickinson, “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul — and sings the tune without the words –and never stops at all.” Dawn states, “I listen for hope and resiliency in the human soul and remind clients of the power of hope which becomes a foundation and the energy to drive them to find a way to get better and heal.”
